Thank you for the informative post. My wife and I used to make smoothies and juices almost weekly!

However, as we got busier we stopped. I really am looking forward to trying this again to help my diet because there are so much veggies and fruits that I do not get in my regular diet.

When you say that these drinks will help lose weight, will just drinking the shake help burn fat? Or do these shakes just help me feel full?

I am looking for a combination that has a little bit of both. Do you have a recommendation on which recipe I should try?

    • Daniel

You’re welcome Russell! These drinks will definitely do the both. They will satiate you and in the same time, they will melt your fat. All of these foods are great antioxidants and my recommendation is that you try them all because there is no the best one. You can try today one juice and tomorrow some other, there is no rules at all.

Hi there, Great recommendations here for juices and mixes. I juice a lot and a few pieces of my personal advice would be:

    1. If drinking lemon water, especially if fairly neat and over a period of time, it can be quite damaging on lip tissue where you hold the glass to your mouth. I find putting coconut oil on my lips first stops this.

    2. Avoid grapefruit juice with certain female hormone medications.

    3. Beetroot juice is extremely cleansing, fast! Drink lots of water with it to avoid a headache.

Enjoyed this article and will be checking in regularly.

I do love juicing a lot.  We don’t have a juicer right now and for the last month because it died on us and we haven’t decided on which one to replace it with.

I really like these juice recipes you have.  They are simple, but sound really really good.

No one in my family needs to lose weight, but even so, I have a list of recipes we use and I think I can ad one or 2 of these ones as well.

    • Daniel

Thanks Stew! I must say that this juices are not only for losing weight but also for improving your overall health. You will have more energy and you will feel much better.

  • Scott Hinkle

Wow, I just wanted to thank you for offering up 10 options for me.  I am 42 years old and, well, I’ve put on some weight.  I’m 5’11” and pushing just under 200 lbs.  I find myself snaking a lot and I have never really eaten healthy. It’s time I started to and this list will help me to meet my healthier goals.

That said, I do have some reservations.  I’m not a big fan of fruits.  Vegetables are OK but fruits are usually off-putting to me.  I do love apples and carrots so there’s that at least.  I guess I really won’t know until I make a few of these up and try them.

Thanks again for the great post!

I love natural foods,  freshly prepared and take on the spot.  Weight loss is best achieved with natural recipe.

I have also tried,  watermelon 🍉,  cucumber,  pineapple 🍍,  and apples 🍎……. When one take juice,  it increases the hydration level of the body and increases metabolism.

Green vegetables also does the magic. Carrot,  with fresh spinach. ….

    • Daniel

Natural and water foods like these ones are great for our body and we should consume this type of juices every single day because we will also intake some very important vitamins and minerals which are crucial for healthy life.

  • pmbaluka2016

Anything connected to juice is my interest because I don’t like other beverages like coca cola, I love natural juice because of the many benefits that come by it. Something I didn’t know about the natural recipes is that they can be used to lose weight instead of going to the gym.

I’ve also learned that for the benefits to take effect, I must take it on a regular basis. Now, I’m not sure what exactly you mean by regular, after meals or once in three hours or 6 hours?

Excellent information. Thank you so much.

    • Daniel

I would always recommend that you use this type of juices from 1-3 times a day, it is very important that you use your first juice in the morning half an hour before breakfast as you will get satiated and you will not overeat.

  • Josh

I’ve heard that drinking natural juices really does help with metabolism. I found it interesting how it makes sense that juices might be better than the actual fruit b/c your body doesn’t have to break down the actual fruit.

I really appreciate you putting all the recipes here for us to try and will definitely be trying them as I could stand to be at least a little healthier!

    • Daniel

Thank you josh! With these recipes you will definitely be much healthier and full of energy.

  • Shy

There is a lot of great information here.  I did not know that juices accelerate metabolism, or that some juices help to maintain the health of the cardiovascular system and reduce blood cholesterol. The best part is that the high levels of antioxidants and fibers help to reduce the risk of all types of cancer.Natural is always better then fad diets and pills they might help in the short term but can also have long-term side effects. Some of these juices sound really interesting but not so sure of number 8 with the broccoli, might be good for you but doesn’t sound like it would taste so good.I think that number 5 sounds the most interesting, I would not have thought of putting celery, cucumber and apple together.

  • Juliet

Thanks for this post Daniel,  I am into healthy eating, drinking and living. I love juices and these are some great recipes you have given here. But I seem to prefer smoothies because they have the whole fruit blended into them. Do you think smoothies are better? Or do juices and smoothies have their different unique functions?

    • Daniel

Well, for me, it is the same. You put what you want and like in a blender, mix it and drink. Most important thing is that you use your blender and try different combinations, with that you will do a great thing for your body and health.

  • Laura

Great article Daniel! You’ve given me some extra ideas to try out. I personally kickstart the day with a cup of warm lemon water, of course from fresh squeezed lemons. After that I prepare two smoothies, one to drink immediately and one for during the day.

p.s. A little tip for people drinking lemon water; use a straw. This prevents contact with your teeth as lemons contain citric acid and can be harmful for your teeth.

    • Daniel

Thanks Laura! You are doing great and I agree with you about lemon water. That is one awesome tip.

  • Emmanuel Buysse

    Great post and good info.

I use cucumber and kiwi juice for weight loss, it gives more lean muscle mass for me. As you know, I’m in the bodybuilding world so it is very important for me to keep that up. The other ones that you mentioned are also known to lose weight, but it is your body that chooses which one is the best.

Anyway, thanks for sharing this healthy post!

  • Stefan

Yesterday I read your post about the 5-2 diet and got hungry while reading. Now you come up with these tasty juices. I wonder how I should loose weight around all these fine foods 🙂

Tomorrow I’ll try the pineapple and cucumber juice. It looks great, I like all ingredients and we have all at home at the moment.

The red apple and pepper juice is too one I want to try. Can I use hot chilly instead of pepper or is this the same, there’s no picture?

    • Daniel

Well, if you like hot drinks you can use it, why not. In the post above I was talking about pepper like vegetable and not spice, sorry If I was not clear enough.
