Mix of pomegranate for 2 cups:

A mixture of pomegranate is easy to make. Divide the pomegranate into 2 parts. With one hand, hold the pomegranate on the side where the bark is, and then take a spoon and slowly take the tiny seeds into the bowl in which you want to prepare the mixture.

It’s necessary:

  • 6 cups of seeds (about 10 pomegranates)
  • 6 cups of sugar
  • ¼ cup of water

Place the seeds, sugar and water in the pot and allow the mixture to slip. Reduce the temperature and cook for about 35 minutes, until the mixture is liquid as syrup. Mix occasionally to not burn. Remove from the fire and completely cool.

You can store this mixture in a sealed container in a refrigerator for up to a year. In addition to being healthy and delicious, it gives excellent taste to all chicken dishes, and can also be used as a spread for breakfast dishes.

2. New Mediterranean Diet Cookbook

Following the results of a study published in a reputable English medical journal that show that 30% of heart attacks can be prevented by the use of a Mediterranean diet, Nancy Harmon Jenkins has published the second, supplemented edition of the Chef of Mediterranean diet and called it The New Mediterranean Diet Cookbook.

This time she has decided to share simple recipes with readers, which is easy and quick to make at home, which is, in some way, a distinctive feature of Mediterranean cuisine.

Recipes are suitable for supporters of a healthy and gradual loss of weight, and can be easily found in every menu.

Even those who are skeptical to not believe that the Mediterranean diet is successful or simply consider that the preparation of Mediterranean dishes is too complicated, it will be resolved only by browsing this cookbook.

Nevertheless, the biggest change in relation to the first cook is counting calories. Consulting with well-known nutritionists, Nancy concludes that in the Mediterranean diet, counting calories should be ignored.

Those who want to lose weight should focus on the whole aspect of this diet, which includes the way to choose foods and everyday habits, and not just how many calories each meal have.

In the chef, you can find really interesting recipes, which Nancy discovered by visiting small, traditional places, from Spanish, turkey stuffed blue eggplant, Moroccan dishes, special ceramic court that gives a special jam to every meal, to Italian pasta and North African meals.
