    I have never had coconut flour. I do try to feed my family (and myself) fairly healthy, and I also prefer to homemade snacks that would be prepackaged (like granola bars) when I can to control sugar levels and other ingredients. Both my kids are pretty picky and it can be a challenge.

And most overwhelming to me is the numerous benefits of the coconut flour. It has so much nutritional value. I’ve learnt a lot about coconut flour.     It sounds like coconut flour has a lot of good benefits. Everyone is talking about the  benefits of coconut milk so it makes sense that coconut flour would have great benefits also. I am currently trying to lose some fat so I think I will try the coconut flour and yogurt shake in the morning.

    I haven’t used coconut flour very much, but this article inspires me to start making some not only gluten free recipes, but grain-free, using just the coconut. I tried to make some muffins once and it came out really dry and dense, so i probably did not use enough eggs to get it moist. I hadn’t really thought about coconut flour being helpful to weight loss but since it is a lot of fiber, and not a grain, it makes sense.

    This is the first time I hear about coconut flour! I used almond flour and some other types, but never this one.

    Does it tastes very different from the regular flour in the cake? I mean, would you notice it if you try the cake without knowing what is it made from?

    I’d like to try it, as in our family we really like baked goods, but no one wants to gain more weight.

      Well, you can not feel the taste but you will recognize it because of specific coconut odor. You can freely use this flour, it is not caloric food and it is full of healthy carbohydrates and protein. which will help you to maintain weight and improve overall health.

    This is an incredible article.  As a diabetic I am always looking for alternatives.  In our home we use a lot of almond flour for stuff like bread and buns.  I am absolutely going to try this coconut flour to see what it can do for us.  Its always a challenge to find good alternatives for diabetes so I am looking forward to trying this.

    Would it be wise for me to add coconut flour to my diet? I can explain why I am asking. Still, despite of its high nutritional value, coconut flour is high in calories and has a lot of fat in it. What do you think?

      Hi Alex, of course that you can add it to your diet because coconut flour is rich in healthy fats and carbohydrates and you will feel its benefits fast. Only two table spoons of coconut flour daily are enough to improve your nutrition to a higher level.
